School Awareness Program on NCD

On 23rd April 2025, Holos Healthcare Foundation organized a School Awareness Program on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) at Baghajatin Balika Vidyalaya, located on Raipur Road, near Maa Durga Jewelers, Baghajatin, Regent Estate, Kolkata. The primary goal of the initiative was to educate schoolchildren about the growing threat of NCDs like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and heart disease, which are increasingly affecting younger populations due to changing lifestyles.

A total of 76 students participated in the session, which included engaging discussions, interactive presentations, and practical tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The program emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition, physical activity, mental well-being, and regular health monitoring. Through such awareness initiatives, Holos Healthcare Foundation continues to promote preventive healthcare and build healthier communities starting from a young age.
